Hello! I’m Fright (they/them) and I’m passionate about communication, accessibility, and inclusivity! I’m an Alberta resident who recently completed their Masters of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta. Despite the pandemic, I’ve been fortunate to work with learners of all ages in a variety of contexts, including schools, daycares, clinics, and outpatient rehabilitation hospital programs. These settings have allowed me to work collaboratively with teachers, educational and behavioural assistants, other healthcare professionals, and families to afford learners opportunities for growth and success.
When I’m not working, I enjoy creating art, rock-climbing, cooking, and participating in local 2SLGBTQIA+ events.
I am currently registered with the College of Speech & Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (ACSLPA). I am provisionally certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).

Hello! I’m Holly (she/her), and I’m so happy you’ve found your way to Speech Matters SLP Services Inc. First, a little about me. I grew up in Kelowna, BC and am lucky enough to visit the beautiful Okanagan often. I received my Bachelor of Science from McGill University and then completed my Masters of Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern University in 2009. Following graduation, I spent several years working in Northern BC and consider the communities of Vanderhoof and Fort St. James in the Nechako Valley my adopted hometowns. To continue to grow my clinical skill set, I then moved to Calgary, where I still live today with my husband and two strong, smart daughters. I have been fortunate to have a varied career working with children and adults of all ages in different settings, including family homes, preschools, elementary and high schools, clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation settings. I have experience working closely with school teams, educational assistants, medical teams, speech language pathology assistants, and families to empower them as “speech and language coaches.”
I am currently registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and certified with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. I have decided to branch out into private practice. I believe that inclusive, quality, client and family-centred speech and language therapy should be accessible to everyone in all communities. I am excited to provide this service. I would love to connect with you and see how I can support you or your family members and work together on your communication goals.

Hello! I’m Kristin (she/her), and I am so excited to be a part of the Speech Matters team! I was born and raised in Calgary, but spent seven years living in Edmonton while I completed my BA in Linguistics/German (2019) and Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (2021) at the University of Alberta. I also spent the last year working in beautiful Medicine Hat, Alberta.
My approach to therapy focuses on helping families to identify the best ways for them to support their child in their everyday lives. I highly value honest, open communication with my families so that we can build a true partnership!
I am also extremely passionate about bilingual/multilingual communication and the deep ties language has with culture and family. My personal experience of speaking multiple languages (English, French, German) and growing up in a household of non-native English speakers, has taught me this well. I strive to assist multilingual families to support their child’s communication in whichever language(s) they choose so that these connections can continue to grow.
When I’m not working with human kids, I spend my time with my two “fur babies”, my dog Taro and my hedgehog Beef Wellington. My other passions include watching movies (especially fantasy/sci-fi), reading, painting, embroidery, and pretty much any other kind of art project you can think of!
I am registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and have completed my Certificate in Francophone Practice for Speech-Language Pathologists from the University of Alberta. I am also in the process of attaining my Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) Certification with a professional interest in Fluency (Stuttering) and Speech, Language & Literacy Development.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Minot State University, North Dakota in 2022, and obtained my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in May of 2024 also from Minot State University.
